Maddog: You can zero out prices now (from a PC/mac only). Click the price in a price list or search for price and click it, then report $0.00. It may take some time, but the zeroed price will migrate to the map. Put the reason you are zeroing the price in the comments, e.g. "No diesel here."

We had one station here awhile back that had one set of prices on one side of their board and another price on the back side. I only noticed it because I had forgotten something at the house and had to drive back. At first I thought they had changed their prices but then I noticed going back to work that the original prices I posted were still up.

Unless you have seen the correct price, zero it out.

I try to be as accurate as possible. But then the price at one particular station will change and it would be nice to correct that later. This sight is not supposed to be a race, though it has become one. It is supposed to let people know where to buy gasoline for less.

I'd like a way to remove prices. We've got stations where they post Diesel and Regular prices on their board, and sometimes it's Regular and Plus. A lot of times I see people who post Regular and Plus when they meant to post Regular and Diesel (well I assume that's what they meant to do). A way to correct a bad post you just made would be great. Also on the forum list the name of the person who made the last post would be pretty good as well.

I've been doing that also (just repost when you click the wrong number on the app), but i was worried it would look as though I was trying to report a price twice

It doesn't matter as long as you have had (or will have) you max of prices for the day. Even if you didn't (or won't), consider the points for an extra report a gift for correcting your error.
In other words, it makes no real difference. Someday when GB starts saving per-station stats, it still won't make a difference if they write the software correctly (any new price will toss an out-of-range price previously entered a short time ago).

I'm not sure why TPTB don't think this is a good idea.
