I wont get to see it until late Saturday evening when it'll be replayed. The weather is expected to be clear. I can't wait to see this episode. Am I right, that there are only going to be 2 or 3 more episodes this season?

Since the 6 are known and we know the person in the casket is a man, it is quite possible that it is Ben. With it being a man then it must be either Hurley, Sayid, Ben or a dead survivor. While you could be right that it is a survivor that never made it home, I'm not seeing that as being an important part of the storyline...or maybe I'm just not using my imagination. I guess I have to open to the fact that it could also be someone we have yet to meet.

I know there is a huge cliffhanger in episode 8 which was the last filmed before the strike and i would like to not be left hanging another year. I haven't read the spoilers for the six yet but my bets are on sun and claire.

My expectations were a lot higher than what they delivered. Overall it was okay, but I was irritated with the Hurley-is-crazy-again flash forward. I like the Hurley character.

dkwilley Champion Author Portland Posts:1,938 Points:89,945 Joined:Apr 2006	Message Posted: Jan 2, 2008 6:16:55 AM Ignore dkwilley Report Abuse I believe it's already been said that they WILL air the first 8 episodes, as there's already a mini-cliffhanger at the end, even if the strike goes on (I can't remember where the point of no return is for when they'd need to start filming again to get the other 8 done)... what I haven't heard is whether they'll then have two 20 episode seasons left (asssuming the actors don't strike next summer) or if they'll tack on those 8 episodes to next season, so we have 24 next year and then the final year being 16.... I, for one, am glad they're going to air what they have done.

With the strike still on, I'm not holding my breath. In fact, I've written ABC urging them to hold off on starting something that they can't finish, even if that means waiting until summer or later. It's certainly going to be difficult to wait for the new season this Fall! After what we saw in the season finale, it would be interesting to go back and watch the old episodes from this past season.

As for his eye, it probably happened before he arrived to the island. As for Desmond, you're probably thinking of psychic powers. He definitely has ESP to some extent. In real life, I know some people who have psychic powers of some sort. I have it too.

Although, it requires a way to explain his eye not healing. Desmond has Isiac's (not sure of the spelling) power to seeing the future. And of course multiple people on Lost seem to have the same good side/bad side thing going as Nicky/Jessica.
