TuanCC, you're right, he didn't last long in either role (Agent Scott and Ana Torv's hubby) *LOL*. Re: Awakened her telekinetic abilities.... yeah no kidding. She blacked out the entire city, that was soooooo cool! Revenge is a bitch Widmark ;)
GasPenny, I'd be interested to go back and start over like you did. This is a series that I'm considering investing in.

In the 1st season episode "Road Not Taken" I wonder if there was any connection between the conspiracy nut calling himself Spock and Leonard Nimoy playing Bell.

*L* - yes you're right, technically John Scott was her first partner. In real life he was married to her too, although he wasn't renewed for the following season, lol! They had a quickie marriage that didn't last. And yes, I do believe Olivia "nailed" Windmark before he was able to "phase" out. I believe the leftover Cortexifene shot reawakened her telepathic abilities.

I finally got to watch the final episode, have to admit the scene when Peter viewed the video tape and Walter told him it was his fate to take the boy had me really choked up. So did the ending when Etta made it into Peter’s arms instead of disappearing. Like MrSports, I thought it would have been perfect that September went with the boy and Walter got to stay with Peter and the gang. I loved it when Walter told Astrid her name was beautiful after getting wrong (purposely?) all those times. Man I’m going to miss this show and its writing.
TuanCC, technically Olivia's first partner was John Scott but he didn't last too long in the series ;)
Question, when Olivia threw the truck at Widmark, can I assume by the large blood stain that he didn’t quite make his escape through... well... I don’t know really what they call it when the observers move from place to place when they disappear. Can I assume she nailed Widmark?

mrsports007 - you will enjoy watching from the beginning and see how they (the producers) really did stay on their original storyline thru out the life of the show. BTW, Olivia's first partners name was Charlie.

Nice ending to what was one of my favorite shows. Thank you FOX for airing the final season.
Gaspennypincher - I am also rewatching Fringe from the beginning. The Observers can be seen from the first episode!
Especially liked how Olivia killed Windmark!

It seemed like a complete story from beginning to end. If anyone is rewatching it from the beginning, have you noticed the Observers in the background of some scenes, even in episodes that aren't about them? I'm pretty sure I never noticed them before.

Excellent closure to a great series. Will mourn another chapter closing in my science fiction watching. I will miss this show. Kudos to Fox for allowing it to finish properly after many shows met their demise through the years.
Goodbye "Old Friend" and hoping all your followers the best!!!!!

Windmark meeting Observer Commander in the far future was really cool. I liked how Observer Commander shot down his request to erase the fringe team and Windmark then admitted they were getting on his nerves.

In two days, the finale. Tivo list the titles for both episodes.
I think I will pick up the box set on Bluray when they release it.

Since I've been watching the season one & two reruns on The Science Channel, I do see (or am reminded that), the show always indicated the Observers would one day take over earth. So this final season is not veering off the path as I initially thought at the start of this season. I had forgotten they always intended the Observers to be bad guys....

I just watched the pilot episode. Good to remember why this became one of my favorite tv shows. The whole gang was in the pilot, Olivia, Peter, Walter, Astrid, Broyles & Olivia's partner, Charlie who died a year or two into the show. Maybe the actor wanted to much money? LOL....

Back to current Fringe...
Good episode this week. Peter revealed to Olivia that he has Observer tech in him. Peter killed Windmark's top 3 lieutenants and is plotting to kill Windmark next. Did anyone notice the fistful of hair that came off from Peter's head? Hahaha!
No new episodes for 3 weeks though. Talk about killing momentum, the networks really know how to do this.

Well roadjet, we got the Matrix moment, Bam! Kapow! I'm telling you, the next side effect is male pattern baldness, hahaha!
I liked how in the Pocket Universe they had the door tags with the iconic Frog, Hand, Seahorse, & Apple from the previous years Fringe intro credits.
