I really enjoyed the harry potter movies and books. It inspired a generation that magic still does exsist and with it great evils. Part 2 finally gave us what we wanted the final battle. The end really set me at ease with Hermine and Ron married with children as well as Harry... Perhaps another series will stem from the closing scene...spoiler alert.12/14

Just saw it last week at the $1 theater (which means the DVD is about to come out) It kind of glossed over the deaths. I read the last book after I saw the first half, and yes, reading the book is useful. In fact I might need to read it again, because I forgot a lot and pt 2 was vague in places.

Finally took the family to see it. Still don't fully understand how it all tied together in the end. Asked some die-hard fans and was told I need to read Books 4-7 to really understand it.

I was at the screening prior to the general release and I thought it was very good.

A very dark movie which almost it difficult to follow in 3D.

Much more exciting than HP:DH P1.
