In 2006 we bought a new Diesel Jeep Liberty and diesel was less than gas by quite a bit. Shortly after diesel started rising and for a while was more than gas. Today in Kelowna they are about the same. Our jeep gets way better mileage than the gas model though.

When diesel does go up I do see it at the grocery store. I don't see it when I shop for electronics. Clothing I don't see it either. Where did this author get the sources to say that cost go up at the liquor store and at Best Buy?

If we used bat pooh for fuel, the speculators would price it through the roof.

Instead of expecting the consumer to keep paying through passing it on, the trucking industry should be converting to LNG or CNG Natural gas. We saw articles on this sometime back and adding stations along their routes. What has happened to all that? Higher cost should bring about this and put it forward as a priority.

Diesel has been above $4 for almost 6 months here. Actually it has come down about 10 cents this month, from $4.49 to $4.39.

Wow, Someone finally figured it out, I'm just speechless from the awe. And I thought that it was magic food ferries that stocked the grocery store after dark. You mean that Santa Doesn't leave his extra games n such at Best Buy either.
I wonder what Denton and the rest of you think is in the back of a 53' van trailer with Wal-Mart or some other store name on it, behind a DIESEL powered tractor.
My god wake up America!!!

Yet diesel is coming closer to regular gas instead of being more expensive than premium.
