The only down side I see since I hold patents in this area is no one is discussing the impact on clean water supplies since the hydrogen has to come from somewhere.

A perpetual motion machine would revolutionize the future of transportation too.

Now, see how long it takes for this process to be found wanting and disappears into the ether somewhere.

Don't see the benefits other than ease of storing and transporting the fuel. Hydrogen as a fuel is probably more efficient and obviously cheaper to produce...

I believe the hydrogen is created using natural gas. Maybe this can help boost the use of natural gas.

Last I heard. A refinery was being built that would produce about 20 gallons of this stuff a day. That would be enough to start running vehicles on it to see how it works in real life. Sounds great, but a 20 gallon per day output. It's going to be awful expensive fuel for the lawnmower.

Hydrogen fuel cells and natural gas would be a great combination.

I read about this earlier. Great headline but it looks like we are a generation or two away from an actual device or system that can create enough in a reasonable amount of time to run a very small engine.

Great news.
The sooner we switch to alternative energy sources, the sooner corrupt governments that are based on an oil economy will fail.

OK, as long as it doesn't take hundreds of millions of tax dollars to test.
